Earthy Glamour
This one just needs to come down a notch—less listing, more control, a little more authority. The original brick façade of this historic home was preserved, while the interiors—and much of the exterior—were reimagined to support the rhythms of an active family of five.
The design moves easily between refinement and comfort. Spaces are arranged to accommodate both everyday living and larger gatherings, with a strong connection to the outdoors. A rooftop terrace, outdoor kitchen, fireplace, and firepit extend the home beyond its walls, making use of the full site across seasons.
Inside, the palette is muted but layered. Matte-stained wood floors, brass accents, and varied upholstery introduce warmth and subtle contrast. Vintage furnishings and lighting are placed with restraint, adding character without excess.
The kitchen integrates seamlessly into the surrounding spaces, while a darker, more intimate living room provides contrast—moody, but still grounded. The result is a home that balances clarity and richness, designed to be lived in as much as it is experienced.
