Design Director
Leo Designs is looking for a seasoned design professional to join our team as Design Director. In this role, you will be working closely with the two Principal designers on all facets of design while mentoring the team. Position requires a minimum of 6 years ( 8+ more preferred) in interior design or architecture.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Knowledge of construction and design process with demonstrated experience managing construction site visits and project schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and according to the design intent
Excellent project management skills and experience creating and managing budgets
Proven experience designing and drawing floor plans, elevations, custom millwork, furniture, and lighting with a high proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit
A keen eye and talent for sourcing along with experience purchasing through Studio Designer
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, independent thinker, self starter, excellent written, and oral communication skills required.
Ability to thrive in fast paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks
Managing client communication, presentations/ mood boards & proposals in collaboration with Principals and design team.
Provide guidance and support to designers and interns as needed, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
